What the breakdown is telling you
The first line is the structure itself, priced per sq ft against the published band on the cost page. Everything below it is optional and priced separately, so you can see what each decision actually adds rather than watching a single total move.
The last line is the permit, and it carries no figure. That is deliberate. The department that sets it is named in the panel above the breakdown, and asking them takes one phone call.
The design basis does not change with the options: 10 psf live load and an 85 mph design wind from the City of Bakersfield patio cover handout, and a ground snow load above 3,500 feet under Kern County Code of Building Regulations 17.06.140.
